(The Imperial Irrigation District will not have an Energy Department Manager for a while)….. The new General Manager asks for a chance to evaluate the Energy Department. Newly hired General Manager Brian Brady attended the Board of Directors closed session this week. Brady reportedly asked that he be allowed to evaluate the Energy Department for 90 days, and that he be allowed to hire the new Department Manager. The Board members reportedly agreed Brady had been hired to run the IID and to make decisions. The new General Manager starts work with the District on Monday. A decision on the Energy Department Manager is expected 3 months from the time Brady starts his new job. Mario Escalera will continue as Interim Manager for the Energy Department.
