Imperial Irrigation District - Board wants to discuss energy department position some more

(Imperial Irrigation District Board to discuss Energy Department Manager position)….At a recent meeting the Board had given direction to the new General Manager surrounding the hiring process. At least one of the IID Directors wants to discuss the issue some more. The Imperial Irrigation Directors have the issue on their Closed Session agenda for Tuesday. The previous action was also in closed session. At that time direction was given to the new general manager. Brian Brady had reportedly asked that he be allowed to study the Energy Department for 60 to 90 days before a recommendation be considered for the position of Department manager. The Board agreed to that direction, though nothing was announced publicly. Closed Session for the regular by-weekly meeting begins at 9:00 Tuesday morning. During the regular session, which begins at 1:00 in the afternoon, the Board will discuss supplemental funding for the Salton Sea Authority Operations. This weeks meeting will be held in Condit Auditorium in El Centro.
