The California Highway Patrol is looking for a gray GMC Envoy that caused an accident this morning. The Highway Patrol says the GMC was eastbound on Evan Hewes Highway approaching Highway 111 at about 7:50 this morning. A Honda Motorcycle was also eastbound when the GMC made a lane change causing the motorcycle rider to swerve and lay the bike down to avoid a collision. The motorcycle rider, a 55 year old Calexico man , and the 8 year old boy who was a passenger on the bike , both recieved minor injuries and were transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the GMC Envoy failed to stop at the scene. The California Highway Patrol believe the vehicle is from Holtville and has personalized license plates.. The investigation into the accident is continuing.
