(Air Quality reaches unhealthy levels in Calexico)…Monitors in Calexico Wednesday reached 101 on the Air Quality Index for Ozone. The Air Pollution Control District says this happened at 3:00 Wednesday afternoon for an 8-hour average. That meant air quality was listed as unhealthy for sensitive groups. Sensitive groups are young children, the elderly or those with asthma or other respiratory problems. Air Quality for the rest of the County remained good Wednesday.
