Glamis - Off-roader killed in accident

(42 year old killed in off-road accident)….The County Coroners office says Jeffery Scott Larue suffered fatal injuries early Friday morning. The Canyon Lake man was driving an off-road vehicle with several teen-aged passengers in the early morning hours Friday. Officials say Larue was not wearing a seat belt when his vehicle crested a sand hill. The man reportedly turned hard to the left, and the sand rail rolled. Larue suffered fatal injuries. The teens in the vehicle suffered a variety of injuries, from major to minor. A 37-year-old Carlsbad resident was also in the vehicle. He suffered moderate injuries.
