KXO Radio AM1230 and FM 107.5

KXO  AM230  and FM107 are partnering with the Girl Scouts, San and Imperial Council to provide " COATS FOR KIDS ". Coats for Kids is the collection and distribution of new and gently worn  warm winter coats for Imperial Valley youngsters. Beginning Friday October 27th through Thursday November 17th coats will be collected and then dry cleaned prior to distribution Friday December 8th through Friday December 15th.

Collection points have been set up throughout the Valley and new and gently worn winter coats may be dropped off at the following locations:

Brawley Parks and Recreation Dept.

Brawley Superior Furniture

Calexico Chamber of Commerce

Calexico Fire Dept.

Calipatria City Hall Camarena Library in Calexico

El Centro Chamber of Commerce

El Centro Police Dept.

Family Tree House in Imperial

Holtville Chamber of Commerce

Holtville Fire Dept.

Holtville Public Library

Imperial Chamber of Commerce

Imperial Valley Girls Scouts Office

Pioneers Memorial Hospital

Seeeley County Water District

Seeley Union Elementary School

Westmoreland City Hall

 

Distribution will take place at the following times and locations:

Friday December 8   4 PM to 7 PM @ Holtville Civic Center

Saturday December 9   10 AM to 3 PM @ James Bucher Senior Ctr in Imperial

Saturday December 9   10 AM to 3 PM @ Imperial Valley Girl Scouts Office

Saturday December 9   2 PM to 5 PM @ Calexico Community Center

Monday December  11  4 PM to 6 PM @ Seeley Elementary School

Friday December 15  4 PM to 7 PM @ Brawley Lions Center

 

To be eligible to receive a coat from the Coats for Kids program the recipient must be between infant and 17 years of age and be a resident of Imperial County. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian . One coat per child. Subject to availability.
