(Mexicali officials deport a U.S. Fugitive)…Robert Carlos Cruz was sent back to the United States this week after his arrest Monday in Mexicali. The fugitive reportedly escaped from a Riverside County Jail nearly two years ago. The Federal Bureau of Investigations says the suspect had been in custody in Blythe in June 2006. He was awaiting trial on attempted murder charges. Carlos Cruz was arrested late Monday after authorities received an anonymous tip.
