(Bovino named new Blythe Patrol Agent in Charge)….The Blythe Border Patrol Station is in the Yuma Sector.

 Gregory Bovino began his career with the Border Patrol in the El Centro in 1996. During his career he has served as a Supervisory agent in the El Centro Sector and as acting field operations Supervisor at the Border Patrol Tactical Unit headquarters in El Paso, Texas. Bovino came to the Yuma Sector from the Office of Border Patrol National Headquarters, where he served as Assistant Chief since 2004. He assisted in coordinating the Boarder Patrol’s response to Hurricane Katrina. Prior to his promotion to the Blythe Station, Bovino assumed the temporary position of associate chief over the special operations division.
