The Imperial Valley Joint Powers Authority will host a Foreign Trade Zone Workshop. The workshop is open to all manufacurers, distributors, importers, exporters, customs brokers, freight forwarders, government agencies and the international trade community. Guest speakers will address the background, operations and advantages of the Foreign Trade Zone Program.The FTZ Workshop will be hosted by the Imperial Valley Joint Powers Authority on Thursday June 5, 2008 from 2:00 till 4:00 in the afternoon. The workshop will be held at the Carmichael Community Center 150 N. Park Avenue in Calipatria. Space is limited and you can enroll by calling Teri Nava at 760 - 344 - 8622.
