Fisherman finds body floating in Canal

(Another body found in the All American Canal)…Deputy Coroner Sergeant Charles Lucas says the body was found by a fisherman late Saturday afternoon. The Sergeant says the gruesome discovery was made at around 4:30 in the afternoon at the Allison check, east of the east port of entry. Lucas said he has absolutely no information on the victim. It is suspected he may have been an illegal migrant. The Sergeant said his office is contacting the Mexican Consulate in Calexico for assistance in identifying the body. For now he is being listed as a John Doe. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday to determine the exact cause of death.
