(The unofficial final tally not expected for a couple more weeks)…..County Elections Department says they are still trying to determine how many ballots still need to be counted. They say they have an estimated 4,418 absentee ballots and more that need to be counted. Provisional Ballots must also be counted and verified. They expect to know how many ballots still need to be counted by 11:00 am Friday. The department says they will then begin to determine how the ballots voted. The Registrar of Voters, Dolores Provincio reportedly says the unofficial final tally will be available by November 21 or sooner. The final number will be unofficial until a canvassing process is finished and the ballots are certified. The canvassing process must be complete a month after the end of the election.
