Federal Judge reschedules preliminary hearing

(Carlock preliminary hearing re-set)….The 31-year-old Rachelle Lynette Carlock is charged with possessing gunpowder and trying to buy more. She is being investigated as part of the Federal Courthouse bombing in San Diego. The U.S. Attorney’s Office decided to try the suspect in El Centro to avoid the proceedings from being conducted at the scene of the bombing. Carlock’s preliminary hearing was scheduled for last week at the El Centro Federal Court. The prosecution requested the preliminary hearing be delayed. The Judge rescheduled the hearing for June 12 at 1:30 in the afternoon. The Federal Bureau of Investigations is continuing to investigate the May 4 bombing incident. Carlock has not been formally charged in the bombing incident
