Fatal injury victim identified

(19-year-old victim identified)….Deputy Coroner Tommy Garcia said the driver of the vehicle Sunday was Christian David Acosta from El Centro. Garcia said an autopsy would be performed Tuesday to determine the cause of death. Acosta was reportedly driving south on Highway 86 Sunday. At around 1:00 in the afternoon, the vehicle drifted off the roadway near Heber. The California Highway Patrol says it appears the driver over-corrected, and the vehicle slid into a power pole. At last report, the C H P said they were still investigating the incident.
