(The sole Memorial Day Weekend fatality identified)…County officials say 57-year-old Manuel Lopez Ponce was killed Monday when his vehicle was t-boned by a pick-up. Lopez Ponce, a Mexicali resident, reportedly ran the stop sign at the intersection of Highway 98 and Ferrell Road Monday afternoon. The driver of the pick-up, 31 year old Nephtali Martinez from Holtville, and a passenger, Sergio Marroquin, were taken to El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries they suffered in the incident
