(Farm Bureau Scholarship Barbecue in April)….The 55^th Annual Imperial County Farm Bureau Scholarship Barbecue will be held April 25. The Barbecue is the Farm Bureau’s primary fundraiser for its scholarship program. The funds raised go to benefit local students interested in studying an Ag-related field. Last year’s Barbecue raised enough funds to offer scholarships to seven local students. Tickets are currently available at the Farm Bureau office on Broadway in El Centro. Information is available by calling 352-3831 or on the Farm Bureau website at icfb.net. The Scholarship Barbecue will be held at Desert Trails RV Resort in El Centro from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
