(County says Good-bye to Assistant Chief and Hello to his replacement)….The County Board of Supervisors presented a plaque to Alfredo Estrada Tuesday. The plaque was in recognition of his 33 years of service at the County Fire Department. Estrada recently retired as the Assistant Fire Chief. His wife and several co-workers were on-hand at the Board meeting to honor him. At the same meeting, County Fire Chief Fred Nippons introduced Tony Rouhoutas Jr. as the new Assistant Chief. Rouhoutas was officially promoted to the position last week. The promotion was made public at the grand Opening of the Ocotillo Substation last Saturday. |
