(Emma Jones is moving on)…Jones will be stepping down as Principal of Central Union High School at the end of this school year. She has worked for the Central Union High School District for 43 years. The last ten years Jones has served as Principal of the High School. Jeff Magin will take over as Centrals new Principal on July 1. The 53-year-old Magin is a Holtville native, but has spent the last 30 years working in Yuma schools. In a sense, Magin is returning to Central. He began his teaching career as a student/teacher in the physical education department at central in 1977 before moving on to the Yuma Schools in 1978. Magin was one of 25 who had applied for the position. |
