(Emergency numbers available for those without 911 service)….AT & T says crews are repairing the problem that left the majority of the County without Phone service. A representative for AT & T says the problem was a Technical Failure in the El Centro Office. Phone service should be restored by mid-day. For those who still do not have service the California Highway Patrol is providing emergency numbers that can be dialed on cell phones. For Life and Death medical emergencies, call 858-637-3813. For Non-emergencies, call 858-637-3800. The numbers are available to all who do not have 911 service restored. The C H P says they will relay the emergencies to the appropriate department immediately.
