El Centro fire quickly extinguished

(No injuries from mid-day fire)….The fire was reported at just before 11:00 this morning by an Imperial Irrigation District employee who noticed the smoke. El Centro firefighters responded to the 300 block of Orange. They found a trailer behind a home on fire. They were able to successfully keep the fire from spreading to surrounding structures. K X O’s Carroll Buckley was on the scene. He said nobody was in the trailer at the time of the fire. He said there were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
