A single vehicle traffic accident that occurred at about 5:45 Friday morning resulted in fatal injuries to the driver of a small car.
The car slammed into a tree in front of an apartment complex at 5th and Adams this morning. There were three people in the vehicle. The driver sustained fatal injuries. Two passengers recieved major injuries in the accident. All three had to be extricated from the badly mangled car. A MercyAir Helicopter was landed at 5th and Adams to transport the two victims to a hospital. |
