(An El Centro boy hit by a car suffers fatal injuries)….The 11 year old was riding his bicycle in the 300 block of Countryside Drive. At around 6:00 Saturday evening the boy was hit by a vehicle. The vehicle dragged the boy over 100 feet, before coming to a stop. The young victim has been identified as Christian Arturo Lopez. Deputy Coroner Henry Proo says the boy would have turned 12 next month. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday to determine the exact cause of death. The driver of the vehicle has not been charged with anything, as the investigation continues. The driver, who has not been identified, was taken to El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment. She was reportedly traumatized by the incident.
