(New I V C President/Superintendent introduced)…As expected Ed Gould was introduced as the new President/Superintendent for Imperial Valley College. Gould fills the seat left by Paul Pai this past summer. Gould will take over the position April 15. When he took the job, he signed a two and a half year contract. The I V C Board of Trustees held a special meeting Wednesday morning to introduce their new President/Superintendent. Gould comes to I V C after working six years at Capella University in Minnesota. Capella is an on-line school. Gould said he would be interested in introducing the on-line concept at I V C.
