Earthquake Drill in Calexico PDF Print E-mail

(Practice Drill held in Calexico)….The Earthquake Drill was held to simulate a 7.5 earthquake in the Border City.

The Red Cross and San Diego State University/Calexico Campus participated with the County Office of Emergency Services and the City of Calexico in the Drill. An emergency shelter was set up at the University Campus on Heber Avenue. The drill, which reportedly went well, was a three-hour exercise.
