(Job seekers may soon be able to apply for County positions on-line)…Ron Grassi, County Human Resources Director, says the upgrade to his Departments website will eliminate a lot of paper. He asked the Board of Supervisors this week to approve the upgrade. The Board discussed the plan, but decided they wanted some detailed input from those who will actually be upgrading the system. The Counties Information Technology Systems Department told the Board they had not studying the plan in detail. Supervisor Joe Maruca said he felt it was essential ITS be brought up to speed on the plan, and come back with a recommendation. Chairman of the Board Gary Wyatt assured Grassi funds for the project would be set aside and available once concerns were addressed and the plan was approved.
