Cotton bales burn near Seeley PDF Print E-mail

(County fire responds to burning cotton bales)…The call came in at just before 3:00 Friday morning.

The fire was reported on Pine Road near Seeley. The Brawley Fire Department provided mutual aide. Firefighters spent over four hours extinguishing the blaze that burned cotton bales. Officials did not say if the fire had been caused by lightening strikes from the early morning thunderstorms.
