Coalition to hold public meeting

(Coalition formed to address the State budget)….Together 4 California’s Future is a statewide coalition.. The coalition wants the state to balance a budget with a plan that includes more than just cuts. They say so far the proposals to trim the $15.2 billion deficit include the largest cuts in the state history. The coalition says legislators must produce a long-term budget solution that preserves public services and to own the impact of the cuts they support. They say the ‘cuts only approach’ would be devastating to families and the state’s future. The Coalition will be holding a public meeting on July 15 to take public input and discuss the issues.
