Coachella gives input on Strategic Plan

(The Imperial Irrigation District holds a second meeting on their Strategic Plan)… The first public workshop was held in El Centro. It was facilitated by consultant Dolly Mack. At that workshop, Mack said the main problem in developing the plan was trust. General manager Brian Brady said it was not a problem that could not be over-come. The second public workshop on the plan was held in La Quinta Tuesday morning. A third workshop will be scheduled for a later date. Mack is a facilitator contracted by the District to assist management, employees and the public in developing the strategic plan. The document is to guide the IID for the next 10 years. During the La Quinta workshop, the District gathered input as to the level of service provided ratepayers in the Coachella Valley.
