(Brawley going to an alternative work schedule)…..The new schedule for the City offices will start Monday, September 8. According to the new schedule released by City Manager Gary Burroughs, the City Offices will be open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The offices will be closed every other Friday. Burroughs says the new schedule will allow for expanded office hours to serve customers, reduce energy costs on the alternative Friday, since thermostats will be set higher and employees will not be commuting to work, and it will provide an open day for employees to schedule routine medical and other personal appointments
