(El Centro Police looking for 3 suspects)…The three are suspected in the car-jacking Saturday morning near the intersection of Imperial and Orange in El Centro. A Seeley resident says he was visiting a residence near the intersection at 7:30 in the morning. A man with a knife approached and attempted to grab the victim’s keys. Police say two other men approached from behind. One of the two men from behind was also carrying a knife. The victim gave up the keys, and the 3 fled in his 2007 Toyota Corolla. The suspects were described as two African American males and one Hispanic man. One of the suspects was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and all three were wearing what was described as dirty clothes. The victim, who police did not want to identify, was not injured in the incident. |
