(Yuma man injured after vehicle rolls)….The California Highway Patrol says 50 tear old James Goin was driving his vehicle West on Interstate 8 at around 1:30 Saturday afternoon.

Goin was reportedly traveling almost 100 miles per hour as he approached Bonds Corner Road. The C H P says the treat on the left rear tire separated, and the vehicle went out of control. The driver apparently swerved to try and gain control of the vehicle, but over-corrected. The vehicle ran off the north side of the Interstate and began rolling as it hit the dirt shoulder. The vehicle landed on its wheels, and the Highway Patrol says Goin climbed out of the driver’s side window. The driver was transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center suffering what was described as serious injuries. The C H P determined Goin was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was officially arrested at the Hospital, but was released to be treated for his injuries.
