Calexico Woman Dies in Crash

The Imperial County Coroners Office has released the name of the Calexico woman who died in Tuesdays crash. Deputy Coroner Kevin White told KXO News that 57 year old Isa G. Ramirez of Calexico was the driver of the pick up truck going east in the westbound lanes of Interstate 8 Tuesday afternoon. Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on the freeway just west of the 4th Street exit in El Centro. The accident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
