(Calexico police are looking for car thief)…Detective Yanis of the Calexico Police Department says the vehicle was taken at around mid-night Tuesday.

The victim, a 23-year-old man, reportedly drove his black Ford F-150 into his driveway in the 1100 block of Zapata Street. The Detective says the man bent over to retrieve a CD, when the drivers side door of the pick-up opened. The victim told investigators said a man wearing a dark hoody held his hand in his pocket, pointing it at the victim. The man told the 23 year old, in English, to get out of the pick-up. He complied, and the suspect got in and drove the pick-up away. The victim was reportedly shaken up. He told police he never saw a weapon, and he did not get a good look at what the suspect was wearing, other than the hoody.
