| Calexico - Parking Meter Tolls To Double |

| Beginning August 1, 2008 the Calexico Police Department will begin enforcing recent changes in the Calexico municipal parking code. According to Calexico Police Sergeant Carlos M. Padilla , the municipal code , which regulates parking on city streets and parking lots, will now be enforced seven days a week, including holidays. The cost of feeding parking meters will double. It will be 25 cents for 30 minutes. The two hour maximum parking limit on downtown streets and parking lots will remain. |
