(No injuries in weekend house fire)…The fire was reported at just before 6:00 Saturday evening. The Calexico fire fighters responded to the blaze in the 800 block of Sixth Street. Very little information is being released. The Captain at the Calexico Fire Department has not returned calls. Others say there is not a lot of information available. They say the cause is still under investigation. Damage estimates were not available. They say four members of the family residing at the house were not injured, but were forced to find somewhere else to live, as the house is no longer inhabitable. The investigation into the fire is continuing. |
