Calexico City Council Meeting canceled this week

(No news from the Calexico City Council meeting)….There is no news, because there was no meeting. The City Council had rescheduled their Tuesday meeting to Wednesday, so as not to conflict with the June 3 elections. Wednesday only two council members turned up at the meeting. Councilman David Ouzan had an out of town engagement, Councilman Lewis Pacheco went to the School Board meeting, and Councilman Louis Fuentes got stuck in traffic in San Diego. The City Council meeting was canceled for a lack of a quorum. The items on the Wednesday agenda are expected to carry-over to the next regularly scheduled meeting.
