(County Executive Officer retiring the end of July)…Roberta Burns said Tuesday she would be retiring on July 31. Burns has worked for the County 36 years. She began in the Social Services Department, and worked her way up to the highest non-elected position in the County. A retirement party will be held in her honor June 26 at the Old Eucalyptus Schoolhouse. Beginning August 1 Ralph Cordova Jr. will assume the C E O position. Cordova is the former County Counsel. That position has been filled by Michael Rood. |
