(57 year old Brawley woman succumbs from injuries suffered in a traffic accident)….The California Highway Patrol says Linda Crenshaw was crossing the intersection of Brandt and Highway 86 in her Ford Explorer at around 1:45 Tuesday afternoon, when she was broadsided by a Dodge Ram, driven by 28 year old Charles Kukla from Borrego Springs . The C H P says Kukla was driving west on Highway 86 when Crenshaw pulled into the intersection. The Kukla vehicle reportedly could not avoid colliding into the left side of the Explorer. Crenshaw was transported to Pioneers Memorial Hospital, but succumbed from the injuries suffered in the incident. The Highway Patrol says the collision is still under investigation. Kukla and his passenger, 52 year old Steve Kukla also from Borrego Springs, suffered minor injuries and were also treated at PMH.
