(County renews contract with the City of Brawley)….The contract is for Animal Shelter services. Ever since Lulu Belles shelter was closed two years ago, the City of Brawley has contracted with the County to use their animal shelter. The City will pay the County $5,000 per month for the one-year contract. In other animal news Tuesday, the Supervisors agreed to a request from the Sheriff’s Department for a budget amendment. The amendment, approved under the consent agenda, allows for the purchase of a k-9 Police Services Dog. The Sheriff’s Department will spend $4,525.50 for the animal. The k-9 will be bought from Adlerhost International, Incorporated. |
