(35 Year-old shot and killed Friday night)….Brawley Police say the victim, Demas Hernandez Lopez, was apparently arguing with a 72 year old when he was shot. Sergeant Perry Monita says the incident occurred at around 11:00 pm Friday in the 200 block of “E” Street. Monita would not release a lot of information, saying the investigation was still underway. He did say the two were in some type of dispute when Manilo Silva pulled out a hand gun and shot the 35 year old multiple times. Monita would not say how many shots were fired. Silva was arrested at the scene. He was booked into County Jail, charged with homicide. Deputy Coroner Henry Proo says the Autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday to determine the exact cause of death.
