Brawley man leads police on chase

(Marc Anthony is arrested in Brawley)…It was not, however, J Lo’s husband. At around 8:30 Tuesday night an agent with the Street Interdiction Team recognized 29-year-old Marc Anthony Aceves driving a late model Mercedes Benz. Brawley Police Sergeant says the agent knew Aceves was wanted on warrants and he attempted to pull him over on Dogwood Road. Monita says Aceves did not pullover, and instead fled. The SIT agent and Brawley Police pursued the suspect during a high-speed chase, until Aceves ran the Mercedes into a haystack. The suspect fled on foot, but was found by police and SIT agents hiding nearby in a Port A Potty. Aceves was arrested and charged with fleeing, driving on a suspended drivers license and for several warrants. He was booked into County Jail. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
