(Brawley Police arrest a man trying to cut down a tree in a park)…Lt. Bret Houser says the call came in at 6:15 Wednesday evening. A suspicious man was in Kissee Park. When officers arrived, they found Richard Cardenas. The man had a machete, and he was trying to chop down a tree. He was arrested for damaging City property. Later that same hour Brawley Police were alerted to a child smoking something. What they found were two adult males with marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They arrested Anthony Brittan and Mario Banales. Thursday Brawley officers arrested a suspect drunk driver. They arrested Thomas Dullea after his breathalyzer test indicated he had twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system
