Border Patrol discovers remains

(Skeletal remains found)….U.S. Border Patrol agents found the remains Tuesday. They were discovered off the roadway near the G-Trail at mile marker 6, close to the southbound lane. The remains were recovered Wednesday morning. Retired Deputy Coroner Henry Proo said the deceased is listed as a John Doe. Proo, who continues to work part-time in the Coroners office, said speculation is that the deceased is from Mexico, but that is the only speculation being made. An investigation is underway to try and identify the human remains and hopefully determine a cause of death.
