U.S. Border Patrol agents came to the aid of a woman who was injured while riding an ATV in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreational Area Sunday. Border Patrol agents were flagged down by friends of the woman at about 12:15 Sunday afternoon.  Agents found the woman was having difficulty breathing after being involved in an ATV acident. Further evaluation by a Border Patrol Search, Trauma and Rescue Team ember indicated the woman had sustained possible neck and spinal injuries. The injured recreationalist was LifeFlited to Palm Desert Hospital for advanced treatment
