(A gruesome discovery Sunday afternoon)….Deputy Coroner Henry Proo says the body of a man was found near Calipatria. Proo said the discovery was in the canal at Albright and Flemming Roads at just before noon. He did not say who discovered the body, which was badly decomposed. Proo said it was determined the body was that of a male. He said the John Doe had been dead for some time. Proo said there was no reason to list the death as suspicious at this time. An autopsy will be conducted Friday to try to determine any information surrounding the death. |
