(Autopsy on body of Westmorland woman scheduled for Tuesday)…Deputy Coroner Henry Proo Says he is not so sure 43-year-old Maria Carmen Urrea died as a result of strangulation.

Proo said Monday that despite speculation, he is withholding any comment on the cause of death until after the autopsy. The woman’s body was discovered Thursday morning in her Fifth Street residence by one of her six children. The Coroners office was notified at around 3:00 that afternoon. Investigators have notified the Mexicali media of a possible suspect in what they are calling a murder. They say 36-year-old Eugenio Bautista Villa, also known as “El Chupacabra,” may have fled to Mexico. Investigators apparently thought they had the suspect at a home in Brawley. They raided the house of Gloria Lara, only to find no suspect. Lara is upset over the damage caused during the raid. Reports are that Villa was romantically involved with the suspect, and has not been seen since her body was found. No description of the suspect has been released. He is described as possibly armed and dangerous.
