(Autopsy determines cause of death)…An unidentified nude body was found in the All American Canal Monday. A construction worker, working on the concrete lining of the Canal found the body near Drop 1 near Winterhaven. The Worker called the Border Patrol, who called the County Coroners office. Deputy Coroner Eric Frazier said an autopsy was performed Tuesday. It was determined the man died as a result of drowning. Frazier said it is suspected the man was an illegal immigrant, but since there were no clothes found, and therefore no identification, it is proving difficult identifying the body. The Deputy Coroner said the man’s clothes were probably pulled off as the body traveled through the Drops in the Canal. |
