Unidentified body found in canal)….An Imperial Irrigation District Employee discovered the body at Drop 1 of the All American Canal. Deputy Coroner Sergeant Charles Lucas says he was called to the scene at around 3:30 Thursday afternoon. Lucas said the man was carrying no identification when he died. He said the victim was in the canal about 4 days. He is described as possibly in his early 20’s. The Sergeant said he would be meeting with the Mexican Consulate to try and identify the young man. An Autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. |
