Another child sex offender tries to re-enter the United States

(Child sex offender caught)….Border Patrol agents made the arrest early Thursday morning. The Agents were patrolling the Border at around 1:00 in the morning. About 12 miles west of Calexico the agents found a group of 8 who had entered the United States illegally. The agents took the 8 into custody. A records check at the El Centro sector office determined one of those detained had been convicted in Los Angeles County for Lewd and Lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age. The Border Patrol says this is the 12^th child sex offender El Centro Sector agents have arrested since May 1. The unidentified person is being held at the Imperial County Jail on charges of re-entry after deportation as an aggravated felon.
