(San Diego State University target of drug operation)…The special operation resulted in the arrest of 96 people, including 75 students. The drug Enforcement Administration San Diego Field Division participated in the operation along with the San Diego District Attorneys Office and the S D S U Department of Public Safety. All the suspects were arrested for allegedly selling or buying cocaine, marijuana or ecstasy. The arrests culminated a 12 month investigation that began exactly one year ago after an S D S U student was found dead of a drug overdose. The undercover investigation, known as Operation Sudden Fall, determined students and none students were heavily involved in the selling and purchasing of drugs both on and off the San Diego campus.
