(Ozone hits unhealthy levels in Calexico)….The Air Pollution Control District the 8 hour average for Ozone hit a condition of unhealthy for sensitive groups at around 2:00 Thursday afternoon. At that level, children and people with asthma are at risk for respiratory problems. Residents are encouraged to reduce the intensity and duration of their outdoor activities when Ozone levels reach a condition of unhealthy for sensitive groups. Air Quality today is mostly moderate in Calexico and Westmorland, and it is good everywhere else. |
